Facebook users would now have the option of a donate button on the Facebook pages of their Non-profit organizations. As a part of its call-to-action buttons for ads, Facebook added a “donate now” button for non-profits, according to a post.
Ever since Facebook enabled the Donate button and its successful campaigns of charity the following year, the company now has officially announced this, as a part of the call to action button option on users’ respective pages.
This will really boost the existence of several non-profit organizations. Without any embedded payment process, the NGOs’ can now get charities from users in a popup window right on Facebook after clicking the call-to-action button. Also, Facebook does not collecting a fee or share while donating for non-profits.
“We are inspired by how much good comes from these connections, so we have added ‘Donate Now‘ calls-to-action on Pages and link ads to make those connections easier than ever,” a Facebook spokesperson was reported as saying.
