Facebook integrates ‘Donate Now’ button for nonprofits

Facebook users would now have the option of a donate button on the Facebook pages of their Non-profit organizations. As a part of its call-to-action buttons for ads, Facebook added a “donate now” button for non-profits, according to a post.

Ever since Facebook enabled the Donate button and its successful campaigns of charity the following year, the company now has officially announced this, as a part of the call to action button option on users’ respective pages.


This will really boost the existence of several non-profit organizations. Without any embedded payment process, the NGOs’ can now get charities from users in a popup window right on Facebook after clicking the call-to-action button. Also, Facebook does not collecting a fee or share while donating for non-profits.


“We are inspired by how much good comes from these connections, so we have added ‘Donate Now‘ calls-to-action on Pages and link ads to make those connections easier than ever,” a Facebook spokesperson was reported as saying.

Now google integrated the six food ordering applications- Seamless, Grubhub, Eat24, Delivery.com, BeyondMenu and MyPizza.com in search results, so users in the U.S. can order food directly. With this move, online order just got even lazier and of-course more time saving. In the future more food delivery apps will be added, Google reported.

For instance if someone searches for a restaurant which offers online delivery using any of these apps, an option says “place an order” appears in the results. And by clicking on it will get the menu page of the particular delivery service. Users can now complete the order directly on their sites. This feature works for those, who are in search of a restaurant instead of a specific cuisine.

With this integration, both google and the delivery start-ups will be benefited. With the generated search results, these start-ups will find more traffic.
